A simple question, “Why don’t you two do clinics?” began the professional partnership. From this organic beginning, they began hosting clinics and tournaments in the Chicago area. They've evolved into sought-after coaches and top-tier competitors, traveling the country as PT & The Professor. Their impressive accolades include being a top-ranked senior pro mixed team on the Champions Tour and professional players in the National Pickleball League.

JEN GALLWAS, M.P.T.

Jennifer is a physical therapist specializing in sports medicine and orthopedics. She got her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Northwestern and has worked at Athletico for 25 years. Jen played tennis at DePaul University and continued playing competitively until she discovered pickleball three years ago. In 2023, she began competing as a Champions Pro and joined the National Pickleball League. She is a top 15 senior pro mixed player and was drafted to compete in the Humana APP team cup for the ’24 and ’25 seasons. She is a certified PPR teaching pro. She lives in Chicago with her husband and has 3 children. Jen currently plays for the Kansas City Stingers of the NPL.

DAVID GEORGE, Ph.D.

David is an actual professor of Philosophy and Ethics at the University of Notre Dame and Ivy Tech College. He has a master’s degree from Princeton University and a Ph.D. from Notre Dame. His current research focuses on education, sports performance, and positive psychology. He is a former DIII all-American college and satellite professional tennis player. David is a top-ten DUPR-ranked player in both singles and doubles on the senior pro pickleball tour and a contracted player with the NPL. He has been teaching tennis and pickleball for 30 years; he is a PTR and PPR certified teaching pro. He resides in Indiana with his wife and has three children. Dave currently plays for the Kansas City Stingers in the National Pickleball league.
